Exploring Mid-Range Bass Sounds in 3.3 - Unleash Your Creativity!

Tutorial | Nov 28, 2020

I created some presets for 3.3, which I think will be released in a few weeks. I included 9 mid-range sounds, some pads and some plugs, with 4 knobs for remote controls. I also included some modulations and ADSRs with different repeating and timing, so you can get different tonalities and movements out of it. I also included some bass lines for drum bass and dub7, so that you can have more fun playing around with them.

Maybe you dont watch the video, here are some important takeaways:

What type of sounds can be found in the presets for 3.3?

The presets for 3.3 include 9 mid-range sounds, some pads and some plugs.

The sounds can be modulated through the 4 knobs for remote controls, which are mode 1, mode 2, mode 3, and mode 4. These mode controls can be used to introduce a variety of ADSRs with different repeating and timing.

[00:00.000] I made some presets for 3.3, I think the final version is probably gonna release in some
[00:11.120] weeks, I don't know, exactly when it comes out, but I made some nice mid-range bass sounds
[00:16.760] here for the release, there are actually 9 mid-range sounds, some pads and some plugs,
[00:29.120] I tried out for myself, and maybe I have to explain it how I thought about it, because
[00:45.800] this is basically the initial sound, and you have here some 4 knobs for remote controls,
[00:51.320] mode 1, mode 2, mode 3, mode 4, and you have these mode controls on all presets for the
[00:57.320] mid-range sounds, and you can introduce a lot of different ADSRs with different repeating
[01:07.080] and timing, thanks happening.
[01:29.560] So you can basically modulate all these 4 mod knobs, and depending on how you what you
[01:36.200] use at which time, it sounds a bit different, and you get different tonality out of it,
[01:41.360] different movement, and it's probably nice to actually use the MIDI keyboard, use your
[01:49.120] remote controls on the keyboard, and turn and twist it like crazy, and you should get
[01:54.120] it out of some nice sounds, so this is something like this, and then it's another sound,
[02:21.840] true to the craft, thanks for following me man, so you know the bass lines for drum bass
[02:50.800] and dub7, god knows what.
[03:12.160] So this should be pretty fun to play around with this, so these are basically 9 mid-range
[03:35.880] sounds, I got a mid-range 1, 2, 9, I don't know, just some can play around with this,
[04:35.880] I don't know.
[05:04.360] So yeah, a lot of this stuff, because I thought maybe that's not inside the preset, when
[05:12.200] you download the presets from the factory, there are not a lot of these type of sounds in
[05:17.800] it, so I thought maybe it's a great idea to put some of these dirty bass lines to the
[05:24.920] library.
