Polarity's The Storm is a four-track Drum'n'Bass EP recorded in a week, using a concept-driven approach for cohesive, cinematic club-ready energy.
I've put together three new tracks for this EP that lean towards dark wave, cyberpunk, or dystopian vibes. It's a bit darker, the harmonies aren't as minor anymore, and I've thrown in some vocals here and there too. I think it's a fresh, varied vibe for me and what I'm releasing on Bandcamp. I've got more ideas and drafts saved on my hard drive, but I wanted to test the waters first to see if people vibe with it, if they like it, and how it’s received and all that. Maybe I'll drop more stuff in this direction later. These are just the initial ideas, and I'm really into them.
I haven't released any tracks here on Bandcamp in a long time, and that's about to change today. I've got four new tracks for you, all Drum'n'Bass, and they're all pretty groovy, funky, and minimal. The spark was definitely the Funk Phenomenon track with Auralbee, and I just got inspired to update three more tunes and throw them onto the album or EP. I hope you like it! Feel free to drop a comment here, maybe leave a review, or just keep on browsing. The Project Files are available on my Patreon page, if you're interested.
Here are 4 more tracks from my vault that finally made it to completion. You can hear me trying to bridge the gap between ambient and drum and bass without making it too chill. It's deep and groovy, which is probably how I like it best.
Two deeper yet punchy drum and bass tunes from Berlin, with enough uniqueness through vocals and hinted melodies. Rounded off with dubby chords and a growling bass. That's Berlin ghetto romance in black and white, with a soulful finish.
In 2065, scientists discovered a multi-dimensional concept that allowed them to access a new world beyond our universe. Excitement turned to horror when they realized that this new world was the true reality, and that everything they had known was merely a simulation.
In a dystopian future, humanity has been forced to leave Earth and settle on a distant planet. Life is harsh on this new world, and the people struggle to survive in a hostile environment. But despite the challenges, a new form of art and culture has emerged. This new sound, born from the experiences and emotions of the settlers, is a fusion of neurofunk, ambient, and dub. This is the sound of the future, and it's what keeps the settlers going.
In this distopian future, the skies are constantly gray and gloomy, as rain pounds the concrete streets of the sprawling metropolis. The city is controlled by a handful of corrupt corporations, who use their power and influence to exploit and oppress the masses.
Between the skyscrapers of the modern city in a distant future. Where the fog of the ventilation systems settles on the window panes like glittering morning dew. Where the distant and loud blasts ring evenly to the beat of progress like a thundering summer storm. That's where we have settled, that's where we live. Life in the sense of waiting, with the deep longing and sadness for a redeemer.
Some deeper and more soulful drum and bass tunes. Lying around on my hard drive for some time, finally finished. Enjoy!
This dark and rainy cityscape is the perfect backdrop for a future that is both melancholic and depressing. The city skylines are filled with ambient drones and noises, making it the perfect soundtrack for a rainy day. The city is hot and filled with bad air, but there is still hope.
No songs and no drones. Something in between. Music for the background and for that certain feeling. Somewhere between sci fi and an infinite cycle.
2 drum & bass / techstep tracks. Very loud and nice and stuff.
3 new darker tunes by polarity. watch the videos on my channel! www.youtube.com/c/PolarityMusic/
I joined forces with Mica Franco, Joshua Zook and Wellnesspunk. Deep, dark & melancholic bass music.
