Balanced - Generative Ambient
I made a new generative patch today, using the stereo cords feature to send different pitches and gate information to the left and right channels, feeding oscillators. The FX section uses a convolution I sampled from Valhalla Supermassive combined with the stock reverb. I also added some frequency and pitch shifters for modulation and grainy FX. This Generative Patch Sounds Like a Deep, Fluffy Dreamscape (No AI)
I tried using simple sequences based on probabilities or “chance” modules to create little melodies and chords. The melodies in the “pitches” modules play differently too, since I randomize the phase every 32 bars.
I Built a Space Ambient Dream Machine in Bitwig
Alright, in this Bitwig Grid patch, I tried to create some ambient vibes using a bunch of different voices and synthesis types. Of course, there's an arpeggio in there too, and I reused the effect generator from the patch before last because I thought it fit really well and adds a nice depth to the atmosphere.
