Scales phase and wraps each overflow into another forward cycle, creating hard-sync-style repetitions.

What it does

Ø Sync makes the input phase traverse the output cycle multiple or fractional times according to Amount. Each boundary crossing wraps to zero and continues forward, producing repeated waveform sections when it drives an oscillator or lookup table.

The documented behavior is modeled by out = wrap(gain(amount) * phase). This is the standard forward phase-multiplication and wrap operation behind hard-sync-style phase distortion, but the exact gain(amount) law and any centering or stereo details remain unobserved.
